The Nest at Oak Harbor is organized and loved by a group of like minded women, who seek and believe in community belonging, rest and retreat, and recreation.

The property is being lovingly restored and renovated by the fellowship of woman as we form strong bonds with each other, the land, the lake and nature.

We are creating a safe and affirming sanctuary for ourselves and for others to join us in the fun of programming gatherings that include leisure, workshops and personal growth in a protected nest of sisterhood and acceptance.

The Nest at Oak Harbor is home to two quaint cottages in a beach community on Lake Erie in northern Ohio; just steps from a private sand beach available to guests day and night. Situated in the Shores & Islands Region of the state, we are deeply nestled amonst wildlife sanctuaries, protected marshes, bird and woodland creature habitats, as well as fish and waterlife.

In addition, The Nest at Oak Harbor offers amazing attractions nearby such as the ferry to Kelley’s Island and Put-In-Bay, Port Clinton dining and shopping, the historic Lakeside Chautauqua community and many enjoyable and restorative activities such as horseback riding, river paddling, hiking trails with bird and wildlife watching, featuring a motor trail through a wildlife sanctuary.

For your dining pleasure and entertainment there are a variety of impeccable wineries that offer tours, tasting, dining, live music and comfortable surroundings.

The deck will be a main focus at The Nest. With over 750 square feet we will have musicians, an outdoor kitchen area, gatherings, movies and classes. The builders are making this a one of a kind work of art with inlays of flowers and a tree. Making The Nest even more special.
